At the very beginning, I do not pay much attention to the decline in my eyesight. I am in a bad habit that I am often lying on the bed while reading novels. I make efforts to change this habit but I find it is too hard. Sometimes I keep reading for a long time while sitting on the soft and I find very tired, so I lied down naturally though I know it is incorrect and harmful to my eyes. My friends around me often persuade me to lead a healthy life but I let them down. Gradually, I find objects in long distance do not seem clear but it is too late for me to notice this delicate change. My poor eyesight indeed becomes a big problem to me in my daily life. I am not willing to wear a pair of prescription glasses just because I think it places little influence on me if I can not see things in long distance very clearly. But later I find it is impossible. I have to wear eyeglasses though the extra medical tool may make me feel uncomfortable. I begin to take my career as a teacher and I need to see clearly what my students are doing in class. |
